Victory Park Sheffield

BCM's work has helped to secure detailed planning permission for Phase One of a 13 acre manufacturing site in Sheffield, which will be occupied by Elliot Group Ltd.

Victory Park will be developed by Property Alliance Group to provide a
self-contained and attractively landscaped industrial park, located between the M1 Motorway and Sheffield City Centre.

Property Alliance Group and BCM worked together to ensure that plans for the mixed use facility, including office, manufacturing, workshop and open storage space, were sustainable and energy efficient, meeting Sheffield's CS65 planning criteria.

BCM achieved 27% improvement on Part L and 14% renewable energy, delivering over and above the the local authority's target of 20% and 10% respectively.

Planning permission was then granted for the B1, B2 and B8 development,
providing a mix of various sized accommodation. (B1 = Business, B2 = General
Industrial, B8 = Distribution / Storage).

Brian Morris, Managing Director of BCM, said: "We were keen to ensure that the outline plans met the LA's criteria and were sustainable, ensuring that any future developments on the site can be low carbon and energy efficient. The initial buildings are expected to be completed towards the end of this year.
